NewsNews 26.3.2008: Dante ’s Purgatorio:The Finnish Progressive Music Association COLOSSUS and French record company MUSEA will release a 3 CDs box-set "PURGATORIO". This concept album will be based on the second cantica of the Italian Epic Poem "The Divine Comedy". There will be groups from Italy, Venezuela, UK, France, Argentina, Holland, The USA, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland and Hungary. Mist Season will participate the project by composing a song inspired by "Canto" number 28. 4.3.2008: Tommi Varjola ’s solo-record "Family Life" was published at a Concert in Hämeenlinna, Finland. Although you can easily recognize Tommi's style of playing, Family Life is not typical Mist Season music. One might say it has more jazz-influences and the record also includes two beautiful tunes Tommi performed with classical Guitar. All of the songs are composed by Tommi. More information about the project: 26.2.2008: Mist Season's MySpace page opened: 1.2.2008: Mist Season has recorded Santana's song "Aqua Marine" for Santana tribute CD: "Guitars Dancing in the Light" by Mellow Records. The recording took place in October 2006. Hopefully the CD will come out soon. Click here for information about Purgatorio 12.5.2008: Tommi has now his own myspace page: Listen excerpts from Aqua Marine and Pan 15.5.2009: Keyboard player Timo Kajamies is going to participate Musea's / concept album ”ILIAD” (Progressive Duels on Grand Piano), on which 12 pianists from around the world will make music inspired by Homer's Iliad. 21.4.2009: Hauras Silta by Paidarion is out. Paidarion a new group playing progressive rock with gospel-oriented vocals. Some members from the groups Mist Season and Progression have participated in the Paidarion-project. More information: www.paidarion.com 20.5.2009: Mist Season has recorded a cover version of Ragnarök's song "Promenader" for the tribute CD for Swedish prog of 70's, "Rökstenen" by Musea / Colossus.
